Virexa ("we", "our", or "us") is a TikTok analytics platform that helps content creators view video performance data, generate AI-powered insights, sync data to Google Sheets, and create professional media kits — all after explicit user authorization.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 From TikTok (via TikTok OAuth)

When you connect your TikTok account, we collect:

  • TikTok user ID
  • Username and display name
  • Profile avatar URL
  • Public profile statistics (followers, total likes)
  • Video performance data (video ID, title, view count, like count, comment count, share count, publish date, thumbnail URL)

We do not collect your TikTok password or any private account credentials.

2.2 From Google (via Google OAuth — Pro plan users)

If you connect your Google account, we request the following scopes to enable Google integrations:

  • Google Drive (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file): to create and upload video thumbnail images to a dedicated folder named "Virexa Media" in your Google Drive.
  • Google Sheets (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets): to create and update a spreadsheet with your TikTok video analytics data (video title, publish date, views, likes, comments, shares, and thumbnail).

We only access files and spreadsheets that Virexa itself creates. We do not read, modify, or delete any pre-existing files in your Google Drive or Sheets.

2.3 Payment Information

Payments for Premium and Pro plans are processed by PayPal. We do not store your credit card number or PayPal credentials. We only retain the PayPal transaction/order ID to confirm subscription status.

2.4 Subscription Data

We store your active subscription plan (Free, Premium, or Pro) and daily fetch usage count in our database to enforce plan limits and deliver the correct features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data solely to:

  • Display TikTok analytics in your Virexa dashboard
  • Generate AI-powered performance insights and content recommendations
  • Sync your analytics data to Google Sheets (Pro plan)
  • Upload video thumbnails to your Google Drive folder "Virexa Media" (Pro plan)
  • Generate your Creator Media Kit PDF
  • Enforce daily fetch limits based on your subscription plan
  • Process and verify subscription payments via PayPal
  • Improve dashboard functionality and reliability

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale to third parties.

4. AI Features

Virexa uses Google Generative AI (Gemini) to power the Insights and Content Inspiration features. To generate recommendations, aggregated and anonymized analytics data (such as video topics and engagement metrics) may be sent to Google's AI API. No personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary is shared with the AI model.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • TikTok and Google access tokens are stored securely in our database (Supabase) on protected servers.
  • All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
  • User data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.

6. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing:

Upon request, we will delete your stored tokens, subscription data, and associated analytics data within a reasonable time. Note that files already synced to your Google Drive or Sheets remain under your control and must be deleted directly from your Google account.
